Upon your arrival in Yangon, our professional driver will warmly welcome you and make sure you will enjoy the transit excursion before you take your international flight. This program was designed to make use of your time for a relaxing and historical tour while waiting for your connecting flight. The visit to various attractions near the airport will be based on your departure schedule. The tour guides’ goal is to make sure you spent your available time visiting the most attractive sites within the city.

The program starts by requesting you to visit one of the finest local restaurants for your lunch before the tour begins. After taking your scrumptious lunch, you will first visit Kyauk Taw Gyi, the largest marble Buddha image in the country. Next stop is the Kabar Aye Pagoda which was built to commemorate the 6th International Buddhist Council held in Myanmar in 1950. After this, you will have the chance to visit also the Nunnery near Swe Daw Pagoda located in front of the University of the International Buddhist Missionary. You will be arriving at the Nunnery most probably in the afternoon already. In the meantime, you will be given the time to go inside the place. Here, you will be able to see how the Nuns go about with their daily activities in comparison with the Monks. You may also have the chance to speak with some Burmese Nuns before we leave the Nunnery and be inspired by their dedication. After your visit here, you will now be guided back safely to the airport for you connecting flight back home or to your next destination flight.
